Dirty Dirty ford

A few weeks ago we had a pretty good snow fall here in New Jersey (17"-19"), and it afforded me the opportunity to go blasting down some snow covered gravel roads. At the end of one of those gravel roads was a snow covered parking lot with some trails into our park (the great swamp). After doing my best WRC impersonation (with lots of handbrake for good measure) in the parking lot, I stopped and took a hike. It was one of the best snow days I’ve ever had. This post may be coming a few weeks after the fact, but i just felt the need to share. Have you guys got any good Car/snow day pictures?

Last year sadly, this winter it all came down as liquid instead, so there’s huge puddles everywhere instead.

great looking road! What kind of car is that, I wanna say ford escort but the tail lights look wrong? Love how the red looks with all the other cold colors in the picture.

I wanted to put my blizzaks to the test a few weeks back but the weather wasn’t ideal. the storm started very strong and I wanted to just make it home from work. by the time it stopped there was 24" on the ground and no way for me to get the focus out. by the time Monday rolled around the roads were ok but any lots not done still had too much snow to have fun. :(

Ford Escort indeed, the EU version, has the facelifted rear end which has the extra lights on the hatch, unlike the more square of the mk5/RS Cosworth model. I love the red too! Why be so moot and boring!

When my wife’s cute ute decided to prove itself actually useful.

Almost 10 inches of snow and it was all good. That was despite still having the OEM Yokohomas and only FWD rather than the optional AWD.

Nothing this year. :(

I’m in the city now so no places to do stupid fun things. But the past has been good to me.

I have no idea why I had those covers on...I love my steels.

Great pic! i love whats going on with the road turning away from the headlights, and eerie tailpipe fog effect. You can only get lighting effects like that on the darkest roads. Could be the cover of a horror movie DVD!

It’s been a very Audi winter for me so far. Friend bought a B5 S4 avant, rode in and shot an insane tuned B5 S4 sedan, and borrowed the black S4 with a nice exhaust from CCC for a day a week or two ago. Been good :)
